Has anyone ever had an issue with the mileage between oil changes? Mine was 10000 then dropped to 9000 then down to 2000 then went back up to 3700 then down to 3500 now rests at 3300! This is all in the last 2 days! Any ideas peeps???

I have something similar, but not exactly like you do. my case: when i travel and make about 2000 km my oil was dropping 1.5th more, so in total 3.5th.
In your case possible malfunctions of oil sensor, first guess?

 

Yeah I was thinking that, don't suppose u know how much a replacement would be and if it can be changed by me or will it need to go into the garage! It is getting worse and is going down by 100 miles nearly every time I turn the car on! Was thinking about resetting the counter and seeing if that made a difference? I know the oil is good it was only changed 3000 miles ago!
