The CPO warranty on my 2006 530xit is coming to an end the end of the year...

Looking for a list of items I should be looking for to get covered or repaired...

There seems to be a little grinding noise coming from the rear of the car...have there been any issues with the AWD for drivetrain?

I have a noticable gas odor in the cabin after some spirited driving...recently occured in the mountains last week...does not occur a lot but at least several times this year.

Have not had the rear suspension failure, but will probably get them to look at and replace any components that look bad...

Anything else i should be looking into?

Perhaps an aftermarket warranty so that you can drive your E61 longer without fear! I have a good guy for this, and a few members here have used him now too! Let me know!

Mine expires towards the end of December as well. Out of curiosity, how many miles do you have and are you going to keep it? I have 75K miles and the CPO warranty has saved me from a number of otherwise expensive repairs, the last being a new tailgate wiring harness. I now have a clunking in the front end which will have to be addressed.

One additional note, should you want to buy an aftermarket warranty if must be done BEFORE your current warranty expires, otherwise it will become much more expensive!

I have 82K miles on mine...Likely going to sell...

just today, on the way to church, the overheat warning came on, 9 i was about two mikles from the house...both the yellow and red came on. i stopped three or four times to cool down...

Getting towed to dealer. I expect electrical water pumop, since cooling fans are working.

What kind of aftermarket warrantry out there?

I had one on a MB waggon i had...Never needed it though
