About 3 weeks ago I posted pics (here) of Mrs xBMWx's new E61 stating I wouldn't be modding it... a few clicks later here in forum and a couple of PMs to member bimmerstyle and it was all over... the modding bug had kicked in

The grills are OEM Gloss Black BMW Performance bought from BMW-Ebay. The carbon splitters are replicas from Ebay-Germany, costing only 130 EUR instead of approx 450 GBP from BMW. The fitment is great and quality just fine for what they're needed for. I love how its turned out; purposeful but still understated. Thanks again to member bimmerstyle for sourcing the splitters for me and install advice

Next on the list is 3M clear cover for the bumper lip, remove the 530d badge for a cleaner look, and then finally get a set of M5 mirrors -- one of my favorite mods, but always takes a while for me to bring myself to spend so much money on mirrors

Here are the pics, along with one with my car :

Looks really smart. I like the level of tint you have. Is that a specific gradient?

The wheels on the touring look great, nearly color matched to the body. Very clean, uniform color scheme. It's almost making me consider black kidney grills. . .
