Just bought LCI tail lights for my Bmw e61 550i pre lci.

Now looking for adapter kit for making the new tail lights work.

Seen a lot of forums with bruce miranda v6 adapter cables, and guides to fit. Is it still possible to buy these ?

Found another adapter kit on ebay, but apparently not the same. For this set, you will need new LCM2 modul aswell.


bruce miranda v6 should be plug and play, but takes time.

I contacted him two years ago and he me a kit for my e61. He said the wagons are less popular so it did take about a month to receive them. Have you had any luck in contacting him?

 

FWIW we just did an LCI Head & tail lamp conversion on an 04 E60 without the above cables. Simple coding and wiring, so it's 100% possible unless you require a PnP solution.

Not to hijack the thread, but do yuou have a link to some detailed wiring and coding instructions for this retrofit?
