I finally ordered some 19" wheels for my 525XDAT. They are the starspoke 230, normally made for the e92 coupe (see pic).
They look absolutely smashing! It1 s nice to see somethin different for once. All wagons with M-package have the 18" that comes with the package. A bit boring...

Next week is lowering the front with H&R springs and get the airsuspension down in the rear.

Note: I think road noise is worse than the 18", even though they had RFs. My 19" doesn't, but I still feel they added more noise, especially over 50mph. Going over bumps in lower speed is smooth though. My tires are Yokohama Advan Sport.

what are you using for lowering the x drive ? ..... this is not available from BMW with the M sport package and members have had major issues with bottoming when doing so...whats your solution ??

Looking forward to seeing those pics. Recently saw an E61 with the 5-spoke 128s and it looked awesome, so these 5 spoke rims should also look spot on.

Seeing as the the 230s have ET37, and the normal 5er x-drive models have ET43, those 230s should sit just nicely -- i.e. no need for spacers. Clever choice!

I'm using H&R Sport springs especially made for the e60 with X-Drive. It is just springs for the front. In the rear they will lower the air suspension.
