Hi,

Does anyone know if the 530i and 530xiT factory exhaust systems (cat back) are the same part numbers? I'd like to put a Borla system on my 530xiT but nobody can tell me if it will fit. They spec one for the 530i but not the 530xiT.

I figure if the part numbers are the same then it'll all fit.

Went to Realoem.com and the only part number that isn't there is the center exhaust and rear exhaust for the 530xiT. Which is what I need!

from looking at www.realoem.com , and comparing the parts of the 2, the muffler itself is the same but the cats and piping/resonator has different part numbers. hope this helps.

Its cat back so hopefully it all mates up fine. The guys at modbargains have been pretty good. It will cost me a few bucks if it doesn't fit for restocking but they will take it back if it doesn't work out.

Supersprint lists teh saem number for the e60 530 Sedan, e60 530xi and e61 530xiT. So I'm crossing my fingers.
