Hello,
Ive had one of my Xenon changed and Im not sure if they changed it for the original one and also it seems to be a little different.
The old one had mild lens and the new one has clear lens. Also the old one has BMW Dynamic Xenon written around it and the new one doesnt.
So the question is... is it some genuine replacement or BMW stopped marking them with BMW Dynamic Xenon? Also are there more type of lens (mild and clear) ? Im aware that the old front glass is a little damaged/dirty but this is not the case.
What do you think?
I attach photos of them.

From the questions I would say you are a newbie to BMWs or you never really took a good look, right?
Every new headlight has a clear lens, your old one gets milky because of dust.
Mine got replaced and it still wears the "Dynamic Xenon" sign, build date of the headlight is 2010.
Why don't you check the AHL operation of the headlights to see whether you got the right headlight replaced?
It is enough to leave the switch in Auto position, pull up at dark to a wall and start turning the steering wheel left-right. Both beams should start moving.
If just the old one moves, go to the service shop because they replaced with the wrong part number. On purpose or because of ignorance.
