Hi,

Time to replace pads and do another oil change, but have a few questions I can't find answers to using the search function. Aftermarket is no issue, though they must be of a quality at least a s good as OEM.

Looking for front and rear pads, also handbrake pads. Possible looking at Red Stuff, but any other recommended pads to try?
Best place to source in the UK?
What about the sensors. Having read that you should replace them each time pads are changed, anyone recommend a good source?

Also need oil filters. Probably order a few at a time, and have seen some on EBAY for about ?5 each plus p&p
Best place to source?

I assume changing pads is straight forward like most other cars? There was a great vid on changing the oil when I last visited the site (a while back now), anything like that on brake pads?.

Cheers

Steve

Well there is a trick to everything with our cars. There are DIY's on how to replace the pads though, try the advanced search. As for sourcing parts? I always recommend Trinity (I think they can ship to UK), if not try here http://www.bavauto.com/

BTW, welcome to the forum, enjoy

Cheers. Pelicanparts don't do the 535d yet, and I'd rather order from the UK for ease of contact if issues.

Anyone use non-OEM parts in the UK?

Also, is there a good panel filter upgrade?

Thanks
