and if I can't find a DIY here I'll give it a try anyway and try to document the process so I can upload info here. For the electric stuff though I guess a manual with wiring diagrams etc would be really handy but I don't know if there is one specific for our cars.

that sucks, maybe you can help me do a search on taking off the rear passenger side door panel.
If you check this pdf file Door_Panel.pdf and follow the instructions you should be fine. Just remember to disconnect the battery earth terminal if you have air bags in the door panels you want to remove.

wow this is some good info, but I need it for the rear passenger door, is it the same?
No problem - the rear door card removal is exactly the same as the front, except you won't have the footwell light to worry about.

the reason im taking the panel off is because some how water is getting in that rear door panel, when i open that door after a day of rain, water comes running out the door when i pull the plug on the bottom of the door.
any one ever experiences this?

I haven't, but several members here have complained of similar issues when the sunroof drains get clogged (and even worse, it's not covered under warranty). One member, can't remember who, complained of eventually several inches of water appearing in his back seat.
