Can't wait to see the pics.

Are the 166 OEM or replica? What offset exactly?

Are the H&R 35 or 50 mm drop?

I sure hope it's replica w/ hi/big offset for AWD/xi model otherwise the OP will be in for a surprise as all will look wrong w/ OEM spec offset.

Where did you buy 166s from, how much did you pay and what diameter are they?
Also, being replicas, do they look decent and how much do they weight?

I have silver xiT with Mtech kit and now picking the wheels.
I am on the fence between 166 and M3 replicas - tirerack has M3 knock offs as Elbrus I08.
I am looking into 18" rims though, not ready to drop 2.5 grand on KW coilovers right now.

I always thought H&R were too harsh for my taste, even plain Sport version. And this is after years in Honda/Acura camp riding on pretty stiff suspensions...
If only Eibach could make springs for xi models..

Please do let us know how the ride feels on H&R springs.

And what is the process of wheel alignment with our air suspension and how much it costs...

You're right, I did miss the "xi" in my thought process.
On the other hand, I was sure there were no springs available for the xi models (only coilovers), but you learn something new every day.

My xi been on H&R Sport springs for more than 3+ yrs/31K+ miles ... and actually H&R is the only available spring only (here in the USA) option for the xi.

How does the ride feel and what is the drop?
I wish I could ride someones car with H&R first before making my decision.
