Yes I know there?s an e61 forum but there is no action (and no need in my opinion )
(There's even a thread there where someone is specifically requesting pictures of the E61 -- exactly what you're posting.)
Most of us, I think, browse new posts in all forums so all you have to do is begin posting there and I'll bet the "action" follows....
(Oh, and again, that's one beautiful car!! Enjoy it!! )

I check all boards by using the "view new posts option" on the topright hand of your screen. So I will see and reply to E61 board posts too.

Since the expansion of this board, I think many of us are aware of the different sections and are clearly monitoring all of them...
(Mark should probably move this one there.)

How did you get the entertainment screen in the back? Was it your own mod, or it it a BMW option?
Also, I like the surface in the rear storage area. Is that one of the rubber BMW pads you can get as an accessory? Do you like it and keep it in all the time?

It?s a real bargain with a solid feel and excellent screen for as little as 350?. DVD-player/screen/tablet. There is a swedish company making a custom holder for the e60 that fits perfect (Belkin or something similar).
You can play any type of DVD and the latest version has line input for hooking up to a tuner or gameconsole. It should be available in the US also.
The rubber pad in the back was given by the dealer and is the simpler BMW version (but I prefer it to the more advanced as it makes it easy to reach the two compartments hidden beneath - it?s gonna be in there most all of the time)
best

objetti... Did you order the DVD player through your dealer and did they install it?? 350 euros is a bargain and I want to have it right away for that kind of money.
I've looked around on the net but cannot find anything about the DVD player.. Do you have a certain website we can look at???

Thanks browellm, I cannot believe how cheap it is.. I've seen similar kits for around 800 euros!!!! I like the way it's designed with the DVD under the screen!
