Anybody running MHD flash?
I sold my JB4 and going to run a MHD flash. Just wanted to see if anybody here is running straight MHD? If so how do you like it?
Love it! Easy to do and to take out if needed. The only "down side" to it is that you need to invest on a battery maintainer for first time write of MHD.
Yes I run the first level MHD flash. I love it as well.
Either of you run a jb4 before MHD? Any comparisons?
I had Procede (Vishnu), which was an early competitor of the piggy backs, loved it as well, but it was a pain having to take it out every time I took the car to the dealer for any warranty repair. I like the ability, and ease, to change settings in MHD like remove the kick down sensor, linear boost vs gradual, choose the amount of boost per gear (the first 4 gears), etc. You can also add the monitor/logging module (another $50), read engine trouble codes and clear them.

I am. Need to nail down an intermittent 30FF but I like it.
Now I am consider to switch from Cobb V3 to MHD.........
Should I? |
If you can sell the Cobb it might cover the MHD. Not sure if it's worth it as I haven't run a Cobb tune. I hear Cobb stopped work on the platform while MHD continues to evolve.
From what I understand, Marshall (of MHD) previously worked at Cobb as the N54 developer.

I run MHD with a custom map in my car as well as any car that I build. I use the common setup of a CD slot mount and tablet to log and view gauges. I am more then happy with MHD and always recommend it.
