Very interesting. I was wonder if there's a service bulletin that we can print out and bring it to the dealer. Mine had water in the wheel well after the BMW tech replaced the sunroof seal and forgot to connect the drain hose. I really hate to see this happens to when my car's out of warranty.

I found out they did not fix every thing... The Auto cargo cover up down thing does not work.. back to the shop this week...
WTF....
WTF....
My car was delivered with a non-working auto cargo cover. The tailgate also could not stay still at the open position. The hatch would go up, then slowly close.
I don't have the paperwork, but I was told it was the strut (I think the left side gas strut), with the sensor and control module, that was defective from the factory. They replaced it, and everything works for me now.
Hope this helps.

The car is going back in on the 31st to get that , a wheel vibration ( please god no diff or wheel bearing issues), Trans mission thunk/rough shift, and a couple trim pieces replaced that were on back order from the flooded rear end.
No loaned cars till then and I could not go another month with out a car like a did before... needless to say they will be getting bad marks for the appointment scheduling and not fixing several things I requested to be fixed on the first go around.

this is a great car but I think it's gone after the warranty period which is 2 more years.
Is your pano roof noisy too? after 4 attemps by 2 dealers I fixed it myself with some electrical tape.
good luck getting your back 100%
