Nice looking rims.

Chip it first. Why not? Get a Cobb. You won't regret it, and it can easily handle your mods you throw at it, since you're going Stage 2 soon it looks like. You can get it cheaper than the list price, if you get from a forum vendor, rather than direct.

Though there are cheaper flash solutions available now I think, but their support is awesome, I really like the package and that you don't have to figure it all out yourself, so paying a few hundred $ more is nothing for that IMO.

Since you're going almost all out, I'd seriously consider putting on a FMIC too. Look at my thread about it from a week or two ago. These cars (and the tuning that's done as a result) really benefit from a FMIC. So much so that a Stage 1+ car (FMIC but no DP's) will actually pull harder than a Stage 2 car (DP's and no FMIC).

PS When installing springs, there's nothing else that needs to be done for shocks, etc. ? I'm a noob to suspension stuff. Thanks!

And any links to the springs or any reading you did on them?

Thank you for the info, I will definitely look at it ... I am debating which route to go I dri e the hell out of my cars just dont want it to become a issue with high boost etc....

I have been shopping around and will defitely consider the Cobb

I figure springs are straight forward, I looked at it and aside from the plastic link for the level sensor looking fragile looks like every other strut ive done.

Cobb's got 3 tunes per stage, plus two different throttle feel maps for each, so a total of 6 off the shelf maps per stage. Drive, Sport and Aggressive. Drive has less boost if you're really worried. But it's really easy to log and check out how your car's doing, if you feel the need to do so.

You need 93/94 gas for the Agg map. And if you've got access to Ethanol gas, then you're laughing. Check out the posts about it on E90Post N54 tuning forum.
