Alarm not activating.

My Ride: 520D E61 LCI and 318CI E46 CONVERTIBLE
If i knew where it was id have a look incase damaged or damp etc.
just out of interest, the error log states DWA_E65 at the end of each line. Could that mean that the dwa was changed out for 1 from an e65 and has not been coded. ??

No it's using the E65 IPO file which is common in E60/61s. If you are sure you're connected correctly and connection configuration is correct then the module is either unplugged or dead. Look in your rear passenger wheel well right behind the bumper and check it. You'll have to pull the bumper away on that side to get to it.

No it's using the E65 IPO file which is common in E60/61s. If you are sure you're connected correctly and connection configuration is correct then the module is either unplugged or dead. Look in your rear passenger wheel well right behind the bumper and check it. You'll have to pull the bumper away on that side to get to it.

ive now put a new siren in. it went off on its own 5 times once connected and then went quiet, but it will still not arm when i lock the doors either by remote or keys

How I would handle the situation: look in INPA and test module. What screen were you looking at for codes in INPA. There has to be be codes.
A previous owner messed something up or neglected an issue. If the alarm is that important you need to start testing things in INPA to point you in the right direction

this is the cable i have. not sure whether button should be up or down though.
