Alarm not activating.

My Ride: 520D E61 LCI and 318CI E46 CONVERTIBLE
Alarm not activating.
Central locking etc all ok but alarm wont activate. No red blinking clown nose. Tried opening window and putting arm in after 30 seconds but npthing. Bmw say the clown nose should still flash even if a sensor has gone but will flash fast for about 15 seconds. They want £96 just to have a look. No error codes or anything. Fuse in trunk ok. Not sure if theres a relay? Checked vin and car definatly fitted with factory alarm. Any ideas please.

Something is not registering in order for the alarm to activate.
I doubt every switch throws a code.
You may have to hunt around old school like. Hood and trunk switches seem to be the most popular.

Was it ever working for you? If so, what was going on prior to it not working? Was something done to make it not work?

yes done. I can get to all otger modules with no problem. Not even sure where dwa module is located. After error i can read what is in dwai with ncs dummy but cant change anything or see if activ or disabled.
