I have a 2006 530xit. I left my dog in the cargo area w/ some windows slightly open and according to the instruction manual I'm supposed to press the lock button once and press the lock button again to disarm the motion sensor. It didn't work.

I went to the dealer and asked them to fix the problem. They tell me that I'm supposed to press the lock button and press it 2 more times. It's not what the manual said, but it worked. Does anyone have the same issue?

Thanks,
Pat
