Hi all,
Having ready many of the older threads on air conditioning issues, I have one of my own that I couldn’t find similar to the issues I am experiencing.

Bought the car with no a/c working, took is for a regas at a recommended garage. They done the obligatory pressure test etc and all was good. No leaks etc.
The air conditioning was working great for 2 weeks, then stopped working.

Doing some set diagnosis, Ive identified:

Pressing ac button, results in an audible change to the fan speed and intensity.

System appears to have pressure still.

The compressor engages and spins freely.

The fan does not engage.
However, disconnecting the electrical plug for the pressure sensor results in the fan spooling up to max speed.

All pipework etc looks in very good (almost new) condition.

No blown fuses.

I have no AUC. Either on the shroud or in the cabin filter pods.

Exterior temp sensor appears to give accurate temps.

The air that flows through the vents is generally cooler when the air con is disengaged.
Idrive setting is on coolest setting. Although I only see centre vent as an option.

Would the pressure be the issue here.? Is it a straight forward swap out or does the system need to be vacuumed before replacing?

Any other areas I could check ??
