Air Conditioner fails

I've got a 2007 E61 Touring and the AC seems to have a mind of its own. Either on Auto or Manual it sometimes either blows very very cold or the normal air temperature outside. The car is only 5 months old so I think this is odd. Any one else experience something similar ?
