Subtle. Nothing wrong with that.
I would like to see (in person) what the ALPINA rear roof spoiler looks like.
Using the ACS web site (or any pics of it), you really do not get any sense of how big or small this thing is.
I would like something a bit bigger, made by BMW in CF to match a BMW CF rear bumper diffuser, and a BMW CF front splitter. On a silver E61 with M-Sport package + 166M wheels, that would look nice.
Ok, I will stop dreaming.

I just washed the car, so it is drying off in the garage. Perhaps later today I can get a whole side shot. But I doubt that you will actually be able to tell the difference! The sun is actually shining now (unless that it just a really bright light in the sky), so it might be a good idea to get some new pics.
I bought it from K?nig Oy in Helsinki (Lauttasaari): www.konig.fi
They had to order it from Germany, so it took 2 weeks to get here.
It cost (please sit down when you read this) 391? delivered. It is a lot cheaper in Germany, but ACS won't send anything here - you have to go through their dealer, i.e., K?nig.
I had it painted with my mirrors, and that cost 150? (mirrors and spoiler). Installation at Metro Auto was 110? and they had the car indoors for 36 hours. It takes 24 hours for the epoxy to dry completely at around +18?C.
It does NOT make any difference in how clean or dirty the rear window is. The same was true with the much bigger E39 Touring rear roof spoiler - no difference.

I've bought it on Ebay.de
It is a great price difference normally by ACS 274?.
Strange that they don't ship to Finland.

Thanks!
I actually noticed that it (spoiler) was on the roof the other day when I saw my car from the side in a parking garage. Otherwise, it is basically invisible. Like my M5 rear anti-sway bar!
I then finalized the installation process of the spoiler by adhering the ACS sticker to the underside of the spoiler. That made the entire undertaking worthwhile.

Yes, so I finally got around to taking some pics of this E61 mod. The spoiler was painted with my mirrors, but not installed until Tuesday.
My reaction to it is... Meh. Was it worth the money? Nope.
Yes, it adds something to the boring (IMHO) end of the roof line, but I think that it is almost too small. I like the version that I had my E39 Touring much better.
Anyway, here are two pics - again, please ignore the dirty rear glass - please feel free to add any comments. Assuming that you have any!
EDIT: I can only seem to get one pic uploaded. I will try the other one later.
