Has anyone had the problem of, say, a parking garage attendant accidentally opening the liftgate of your wagon (when it's backed up near a wall)? I just got my wagon last weekend and I foresee a problem with the fact that the car has the start button, and the "valet" key consists of removing the metal key from the fob and leaving the fob with the attendant. The metal key, of course, does nothing more than lock the glove box on the wagon. The fob includes a button for opening the tailgate, and it's right where you might press it when removing the fob from the steering wheel slot. As I mentioned in a previous post, iDrive allows you to select 4 different heights for tailgate opening, but none of them is zero or would prevent damage to the paint, at a minimum, if the tailgate opens when it's near a wall. There should be a software fix ............
