My Ride: 2008 535xit. Sport/Nav/PDC/Nasca leather/Vent comfort seats/L7/HBA/USB/Cold + Prem/HUD/... Soon to have JB3 + 19" MRR wheels

I just bought an 08 535xit and am looking to replace the 17" wheels with 18 or 19 in a non-staggered, symmetric set. The wagon requires greater 43mm offsets (35-45 seems ok) and every post I've seen has used 245/35/19 for 19" front tires. However, my car speedo is a solid 5+% optimistic on speed calibration and that size is very slightly shorter than 225/50/17 which would make that 1% worse. 255/35/19 is very slightly taller (~4mm) and seems perfect

Any comments on the slightly larger tire fit up front (back is definitely fine)? Also, if it does fit, what tighter offset range will I need to stick with to keep the wheel centered between the strut and fender?

I'm planning on going with ExtremeContact DWS tires which come in both sizes
