Hello!
I have (e61)530xd 2006 model. Car is original m-sport, but four wheel drive model is high.
I like, that 530 m-sport (rear wheel drive model)is pretty and would like that my car(xd) seems like it.
My cars have "airmatic" rear suspension and springs in front.
How can I modified my cars, looks like rwd m-sport?
1.H&R spring kit front, how is comfort with this? Could you tell part number and experience about springs?
2. Is it possible to assemble rwd models front springs or is a measurement differential in springleg?
3 Do you know something else spring kit for front axle, with good comfortly?

And rear suspension is easy... I can adjust it with PC.

I hope you understand what I mean, because my english is not so good

Btw. Four years ago I bought H&R spring kit for my mercedes w210T. It was so bad that I have to remove it. Suspension/Springs was so hard, like without suspension

Hi,

You have a fellow countryman that got the Hartge springs that also comes with new rear leveling joints not just the springs. Look at post #7 for a picture in this thread https://5series.net/forums/topic/961...self-levelling being in Europe you should be able to source these springs easily!

Good luck and hope this helps.

And..
I found this
http://hrsprings.com/scripts/appguide.php?Mode=Application+Guide&SubMode=Find2& Year=2004&ModelID=536&q=2004%20|%20BMW%20|%20530Xi %20Wagon
Part number 29146-2
Approx. Front
Lowering 1.4
Do you have knowledge about this, comfort etc?
Is height like rwd m-sport,about?
Or do you know something better, but not coilover system, too expensive...

You are right they don't seem to specify springs for the AWD xi. I guess the best thing would be to contact Hartge to validate if either of the 2 kits on their site would be ok for the X drive version?

I will most likely buy these springs as well, they are the easiest springs available for the North American market in in my opinion. I have not tried them therefore I cannot comment on them.

Another fellow member installed the H&R's take a look at the drop and his impressions.

Your best solution is springs this will save you $$$.

Again I hope this helps!

Hmmm... Do I understand...If you mean that RWD-models front springs are same that AWD-models? Then I can buy original RWD-530d M-sport springs for my AWD cars. Could you confirm this case?
Remind: I search (RWD-m-sport style) for my AWD car. I dont need tuff racing suspension, only pretty original style m-sport suspension height, because my 530xd m-sport has very height suspension, like SUV-cars

No I recommend you verify with Hartge before you purchase anything to be 100% sure it is ok for your application.

If you decide you want the H&R the part number for the 530xi in North America is 29146.2 I believe it should be the same for Europe.

Thank you Spartan335i!

I have to read again and now I understand, thanks my good english

You tried tell me that nickname "Nels996" has H&R springs(AWD springs) his RWD car.

Now I believe that measurement in front suspension/spring are same AWD and RWD cars.

Tomorrow I have to take order for pair springs (E61 530d m-sport RWD) Spring part number 31336769006

I think original m-sport- vs. H&R spring is better for me.

I have to report how this case gone..

Ok, now I know this
RWD models front springs is not a fit for AWD cars. RWD models spring(down side) has larger diameter...
Maybe I have to buy H&R:s springs... 29146-4
