How is the sport transmission feeling comparing to the old in your opinion?
Cheers

If you don't mind me interfering: the auto shifts smoother and faster compared to the old auto tranny. And it also feels more "intelligent", apparantly ZF has worked more with paramter programming for which when to change and to what gear. And that's in the "normal mode". My impression of the sport mode is that there is still a slight auto feel, but the gear changes are impressively fast and you MIGHT just think you're driving an SMG...

You got it at last. But if you ask me, it was worth the waiting, it looks great.
Nice equipement you got there; how much did you pay extra for having the SMG?

It is not SMG it is the new sport automatic and it costs just ?150 more than the standard automatic. I think it costs ?2350.

Hi Helmut,
How were your holiday in Bibione?
I guess you enjoyed them also because the weather was quite good the last two weeks.
From my first pictures till today I have changed the rims from the standard 135 to 166 M5. The car looks awesome. I traded the OEM 135 rims with the new and jumped to BMW Niederlassung Munchen to buy four runflat 245/35 R19 at a very competitive price. As soon as I will have some more time will post some new pics.
Ciao

the holiday was already perfect, the weather and the appartment a dream ( 8 th floor with look on the sea ).
I have noticed that you have buyed Runflat tires in 19", how is the driving with this one. Because I think that the Runflat Tires ( 17" on my car ) are not so recommend, because they are getting harder and harder about the time.
I would like to make a change to normaly tires in 19"
Please give us as soon as possible new photos with your new rims.
Bye

Here are some photos with new 19" rims.
I think that the car looks much better.
The driving with 19" runflat more or less the same as with 18". I did not noticed big difference. Might be a little more stiff but this is all. Sorry to those who hates runflat but I feel much more safe.

(Brave man to go for runflats on 19s !!
)All you need to do is get that front number plate holder sorted, like you did on your last Silver E61, and you're sorted. Is that a straight forward change?
