How is the sport transmission feeling comparing to the old in your opinion?

Cheers

If you don't mind me interfering: the auto shifts smoother and faster compared to the old auto tranny. And it also feels more "intelligent", apparantly ZF has worked more with paramter programming for which when to change and to what gear. And that's in the "normal mode". My impression of the sport mode is that there is still a slight auto feel, but the gear changes are impressively fast and you MIGHT just think you're driving an SMG...

You got it at last. But if you ask me, it was worth the waiting, it looks great.
Nice equipement you got there; how much did you pay extra for having the SMG?

Ok, thx a lot.
What is your average fuel consumption, if you have noticed, so far ?

The 2TB is only + 160 Euros compared to "standard" auto. But it's not an SMG...

Here are some pics of my new ride.

Hi Marco,

now I?m back from my trip to Italy, so the first I have to do is to give you my congratulations to your new car.
It looks great in space grey with the M-Sport package

Before I drive to Italy I have given the order to my dealer for the M-Sport package. I hope I become this in the next few days, because I have seen this in my colour ( Platinum grey with leather natural brown ) by another member of this forum. It?s looks also very great

The next step I would like to change the rims ( at the moment I have 245 ) to the BMW rim 167 ( from the M6 ).

Ciao

Heli G.

very nice Marco - congrats !
Yes, it is. I used to have it also on my previous E61 ans I am so used on it that I can't feel comfortable with the standard one.

Hi Helmut,

How were your holiday in Bibione?
I guess you enjoyed them also because the weather was quite good the last two weeks.
From my first pictures till today I have changed the rims from the standard 135 to 166 M5. The car looks awesome. I traded the OEM 135 rims with the new and jumped to BMW Niederlassung Munchen to buy four runflat 245/35 R19 at a very competitive price. As soon as I will have some more time will post some new pics.

Ciao
Marco
