Now that the M5 touring arrive, do you think we can have the new facelift touring with the 19" wheels??
Until now, the european dealers, say we can't.
And do you think there will be new models? I like the 172M, but like to see more models.

well then order the car with the cheapest wheels available and use those for the winter tires.
and buy the beautiful 19" wheels as a private separate purches.
seems easy to me

Your ideia, was also mine, but my dealer, say, that if i a have problem in the future, they are out with garanty!! That not easy to decide!!
My hope, was that with the Lci model, something change. But don?t think i have luck.
Now, i'm just waiting for the confirmation of BMW Suisse, because they see some thing strange in the homologation paper.(there is 19" and 18" at same time!. must be a error)

Car looks great (nice to see someone else who changes the mirrors. I had AC mirrors on my E39 530 touring).
Did the dealer supply the 172s with the car, or did you have to get them afterwards?
I've got a 535 touring arriving 1 Sep and the dealer wouldn't budge on providing 19s in place of the 18s. A bit of a pain offloading the 18s and then getting stung on the 19s. Any ideas? Thanks.

Yes, I have just received the papaers of my new E61 LCI and it says that it is possible to install 245/35 R19 93Y.
So 19" rims are legal.
It was about time.
