Yes, I have just received the papers of my new E61 LCI and it says that it is possible to install 245/35 R19 93Y.
So 19" rims are legal.
It was about time.

No spacers. Fit like was made for the E61, at least the OEM M6 wheels. I don't know about the replicas.
Any problems at all. No rubber issues either, and it has the rear lowered.

you don't need spacers because you have wheels with ET 17. If you used the typical e60 wheels like 172 or 166, then you will need spacers. anything have ET20 would cause rubbing on the inside of the wheel.. with et17, you are on the safe side..

The standard 19" wheels for E60 have ET 18 front and ET 32 rear (172 rims and similar) and ET 18 for the E61.
The standard 19" wheels for the E60 M5 is ET 12 front and ET 28 rear (166 rims). It means that the front is 6 mm more outside and the rear 4 mm more outside if fit on the E60 so no rubbing.
The standard 19" rims for the E63/E64 M6 have ET 12 front and ET 17 rear (167 rims). It means that the front is 6 mm more outside and the rear is 1,5 cm more outside so again is impossible rubbing.
However IMO the rear M6 stays a bit too outside and you can have a bit less grip on wet roads. So I would go with the M5 rims and actually I did buy two sets of front 166 rims for the E61 as all 4 tyres are the same width on the Touring.

But we saw some 172M wheels on the E61 of some members in this forum. and i never listen that they use spacers in the rear!?
Can you, people of the 19" wheels(172M) confirm us, what you use, or not in your amazing E61??
Thanks...
