Default 08 E61 oil pressure

I get an oil pressure warning on cold mornings, sub 30F. I have an Autophix 7910 code reader but I cannot find a way to read the oil pressure to check this out. Is there a way to read this with this tool?

It has a live data function so I'm pretty sure you can read the oil pressure. If it's giving you a light it means you're low on oil so I'd add a qt

Have you inspected the oil pressure sender? They are prone to leaking and failure. If left leaking too long, can cause other problems.

I have also seen knock-off parts that would read incorrectly, drives the computer crazy. Would complain there was too much oil pressure, when the car was turned off. Genuine replacement solved the problem.
