Wheel Dilemma!!!... Need some advice.
Wats goin on,
Need some other opinions, Im looking to get a new set of wheels im going 20x11 rear (i know will fit) but Im torn on whether I should do 20x9 et20 (dont really like the lip) or 20x10 et15 up front 5mm spacer to clear strut. I've been talking to a member on here who is running the 10 on the front only thing is he isnt as low as me. Im on coils now so I can adjust but I dont want a fender gap up front. I also dont want to have to do to much to get it to fit. Can I make the 10 work? I really want the 10 just dont want to make the wrong choice here. Thanks

I am sort of in the same boat here. However I am looking to do a staggered 20x10 set up.
OP are you going to basically run a 10 off set in in the front? Also what size tires are you thinking?

Are you sure you will clear the strut if you go with the 10x20 et10? Usually you have the spring perch there to get in the way. Even with the 9x20 et20 I'd throw on a 8mm spacer to make sure there's at least 5mm or more clearance to the strut.

I am looking for Varrstoen's. Im currently in contact with Tim over there he"s just waiting for me to make a decision.
The front is et15 but they say I will have to run a 5mm to clear the spring. So does that make it ET10?... I just bought new front tires for my car before I thought about changing rims so I wanted to run my curretn 225/35 on the 10 but I think that may be too much stretch although I've seen it done on various cars just worried about the functionality I drive pretty fast dont know if that will have an effect. If I have to I will go 235/35 but i dont want too. Out back on the 11 im going 275/30 for sure. What offsets are you looking at for the front?
Going to be et15, Varrstoen says I need a 5mm spacer to clear but i dont know if theyre referring to the spring perch or the strut tube that fits into the hub. I am on ST Coils and they are slimmer than the stock sports suspension I had on there so I dont know if I'll need it. I was thinking a 10mm on the 9 only thing about the 9 is that the lip is 1.5" vs 2.5" for the 10. makes a big difference in the aesthetics department. the 9 takes away from the step lip. This decision is tough because I dont want to be dissatisfied with my purchase. I REALLY want that 10, n if I had to run the 5mm spacer with a stetched tire and rolled fenders i think I'd be fine. The 9 is to close in size to the 8.5 i have now and i started to hate the way it looks when I see other setups, mind you I have a 15mm spacer up front...Whats your take bro? I see you post on alot of wheel threads I was going to send you a PM glad you responded to the post.

I am running varrstoens 20x10+15 fronts with 245/35 and 20x11+25 with 275/30 rears with 5mm all around, rears wont be a problem, took off the fronts a week ago and tried running it without the spacers and the fronts would rub on the spring perch. Another member here with the same set up has exact same wheels and was running a 245/30 tires up fronts and was able to run it w/o spacers (thats what i've been told) hopefully he chimes in.
But judging from what i tried seems to me my tires is bigger 245/35 making it rub a bit on the front spring perch, i think from the wheels to the strut is ok but very minimal space in between, i would say 1mm to 2mm pretty tight but i think its duable, planning to go 245/30 next time i will need front tires.
Hope that helps.

x10's in the front would be nice... the es1's 20x10 would looks reallyy nice with the 11 rears.
just might have to tweak the suspension a bit to make the wheels fit and then get an alignment.
if your in love with the 20x10 and 20x11 then go for it but be prepared for some frustration lol
i like my 20x9 and 20x10.it looks aggressive even with the small lip up front. its a daily driven car for me not a super aggressive show car.

ANOTHER QUESTION NEED HELP QUICK.... Had to get the wheels re-drilled that went fine, got a call that they re-drilled the wrong offset for the rears instead of +25 as planned they did a +15 wheel. Rears are 20x11 et15 vs the original +25, Do you guys think I will have a problem with the +15 with a 275/30 tire fenders are rolled. I know there was an M5 on here running 20x11 et15. I cannot return the wheels once i receive them because of the re-drill so I need to get this right, I think I can fit the et15. just need some help.
