My Ride: '05 545i - scheduled for ED pickup in Munich on 7/22!
If I could have any set of rims regardless of price, I'd probably go with BBS RCJ's or RG-R's. These are the best combination of strength and lightness. Some wheels may be lighter, but they wouldn't be stronger, and vice versa.

Sure, they're not the best looking wheels out there, but there's a reason why F1 cars use BBS. I think HRE's are better looking, but have heard wheels like that are just heavy jewelry.

[/quote]I'm surprised to hear that. I thought HRE's were made from the best type of metal and that is why they are so expensive. Anyway a lot of us don't take our cars to the track like some of the porsche owners. For everyday driving it's good enough.

I personally like the Beyern 5... Plan on having these with some new Michelin PS2's installed next week on my 545
