I like them very much Wolverine; your photo shows them off perfectly. Excellent choice. I almost got BDs as you know.

Wolverine I think you have found the perfect match for the jet black E60.

I just bought the 19" BMW M Cross Spoke 101s (2-piece wheels made, of course, by BBS). So, naturally they are my favorites. ~(:^) Really though there are some incredibly good looking wheels out there (and above)--that surpass the 101s in looks. But, I am partially emphasizing performance and bang-for the-buck factors in the favorite wheels equation. The rear 101s (9.5"s) weigh only about 22.5 lbs.; I am not sure what the fronts (8"s) weigh, but they probably would weigh, say, 2 lbs. less. The rears list for "only" $745, while the fronts list for "only" $715. It would be interesting if those of you who already have replied would go back and edit your posts to indicate list prices and weights for your favorites. I also like the 101s because they could not possibly raise a warranty issue since they are shown in the 5 Series accessories catalog. Finally, I like them because the lug nuts don't show. My tires are 19" PS2s--275 X 30s and 245 X 35s.

I know you paid less than list. More for others interested in this wheel (like me when my tires need replacing).

Yes, I was aware of the Chapman (a Phoenix BMW dealer) site. I got mine through N. Scottsdale BMW at similar prices. Chapman appears to be charging seperately for the centers, but it's kind of hard to tell for sure. Still, the Chapman offer is a good deal, and works well for those not in Phoenix--i.e., via mail order.

I went to my BMW dealer today for installation of my wheels/tires. Unfortunately, one wheel was damaged. So, another should be here by tomorrow or Monday at the latest. The dealer had put a set of the 101's on a dark gray 5 series in the showroom. I knew they would look good. But, I was surprised. They looked amazingly good. Great price, looks, and performance boost. I'll post pics. I probably will not lower the car. There will be a noticeable gap for the rears especially. So, "mind the gap"--if you know what I mean.
