Good luck!

And now?
I think dealers must have guides/instructions to replace the unit in case of failure. (+ we need PDF to unmount the dashboard)

BenAnd said no, because a friend of him did it without changing the LM. And it works.
Which is your experience? Pls share with us!

It's like my heated steering wheel: just ask your FA-list to your dealer, use and XML editor and add "<option>610</option>" in it.
Then save the file and load it on the car (you have to have the latest Progman) by dealer's computers.

I will confirm the procedure in some days - I hope.

It's pretty simple, if you know what are you doing

PS:
I thought you already had the HUD

Hi Alex

Fine list you have made , it look's Okay to me , it's right you don't have to change your LM ( Light Modul ) when mounting HUD , only rain/light sensor have to be changed ( and light-control switc ).

Here just a pitcure of my latetes mode , build I-drive controller in the arm-rest at the rear seat , have just to hook it up now , and then I'm also the "boss" when sitting in the rearseat .

Do you remember how you proceeded?
Would you be able to write some lines to explain what to do once removed the dashboard?

Hi Alex

when the dashboard first is out , it's quit easy , put in the 2 blind nite's , stick the holder a-round the pipe , now put in/down the HUD unit , screew it in with the 2 6mm bolt's and the 8mm , now re-fit the dashboard , all wirering to the HUD can be made from underneath the dashboard/steeringwheel afterworths.

Please see pic's

Ben, are you able to provide a list of all little parts?
As that 07147121926. When you order this kind of part it has to arrive from Germany (except USA I think). And we need to have everything on the table when we start
