I'm looking to get front pads for a 2006 525i. I ran into these 2 part numbers

HB551F.748
http://www.empire1.net/racing/neonra...551f.748.shtml

HB534.750
http://www.empire1.net/racing/neonra...534f.750.shtml

What's the difference between the 2? the .750 seems to have a split between the pads. Is that any better or worse?

551F.748 is the proper part number. Don't worry when you order I'll get you the proper set

balbs, order from Michael, he'll take care of you for sure. The Hawks have noticeable improvement in braking on my 545i.

So a buddy of mine works as a mechanic for Delta airlines (fixes their trucks, not planes). He was also a mechanic when he was in the army. Although he used to have an early 90's 3 series, he shouldn't have a problem changing brakes and rotors on an E60 right?
