E60 535d intercooler On 535i.
Hey all. Looking at a e0 intercooler on amazon. Appears to be a bolt on for the e60. Tuning Performance Intercooler Fits For BMW 635d E63/E64 525d 530d 535d E60/E61 04-10 https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07SNSVHL4/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_VzViDbXPTQE47
anyone used this? I would need to use an aftermarket trans cooler. However that is pretty doable. And for an intercooler that I don’t have to Jerry rig I would be willing to make it work.

What the hell??!!
I literally just got my Wagner performance IC today. That looks exactly like it, wait it is a Wagner. You can clearly see the round Wagner logo on the top picture.
Wagner Tuning Performance, damn. But hell they have them on ebay from China with labeled as tuning performance.
I wonder what gives because I paid 300 more.
I hope I bought quality with those 3 bills
What makes you say aftermarket trans cooler is needed?
I haven't turned a screw yet and don't know how it will fit, let alone what will happen to the trans cooler.
I searched high and low and couldn't find any E60 XI or i Wagner installs.
The Wagner states module support will need to be modified for the TOC
I was going for the PSP but they were out of stock and they responsed to my email with a no ETA for when they would have them.

There is a trans cooler is mounted in front of the intercooler on the e60. It will need to be mounted creatively from what I can tell. Not sure it the trans cooler old mount will work. I have been trying to figure out the best location. Space is tight up front on mine as I have night vision and stop start cruise.
I will have to buy it and figure it out.
I am in phoenix And would be happy to help with install if you are nearby so I can have a look.

And I know about the TOC location. I am using the stock bumper.
Ill post pics when I start.
I will probably just take the bumper off

Well folks,it butts right up to the power steering cooler. Bummer.
The Wagner went in smooth as silk otherwise.
Maybe not ideal but I am going to hang it from the bottom of the bumper with L brackets and the factory clips.
I have to grab some screws from work tomorrow. The brackets are cut and drilled already.
It should be a solid solution maybe not the most solid for fluid cool air flow.
Either way it will be heads above the factory set-up.

So here is what I ended up with.
Angle brackets cut to fit, #12, 3/4" self tappers with factory mounting clips.
I'm impressed with the ease it slipped in but not pleased where I had to mount the TOC.
It blocks the upper step, hopefully not in a mind numbing WTF way.
It will be interesting to log and to be honest not really expecting any miracles.
I should have hung on until the PSP 600 was back in stock.
