Just spoken to the Dension distributor in the UK and the new Gateway 500 for E60 and E61 with iDrive is definitely being released at the end of June here in the UK.
The cost will be 249.99 GBP excluding fitting. It will be widely available through Halfords as well as specialist ICE suppliers.
Seems like a very good price to me bearing in mind what you get for the money!! I think I'll be ordering mine very soon!!

But the full ipod kit from BMW is out in July, that gives access through the idrive including being able to see the ipod menu on the idrive screen, why go for the dension now?
