I think what he meant is if his ipod has Chinese language song showing in Chinese characters, would it show up on i-Drive like on iPod? The thing is iPod does support Chinese characters.

That is interesting, does it support other Aisan characters then?
Can you not set the idrive to display Mandarin etc. ?

The dension does that exactly the same as well, I'd gladly get the BMW one but my dealer said no firm plans yet...did you get anything definite then from a UK dealer about dates etc?
At this point I'll take anyones IPOD connection, what a great leap forward this fibre MOST stuff is, 2 years on and my old E39 had better I-POD integration

Dension is out mid of July in EU at least the Benelux importer said, the funny is I asked at home the company (they are Hungarian) and could not tell when, but bare in mind that BMW changed sometimes the wirings so that also delayed the stuff. I am happy now w MP3 cds and will see.

first bad they tested in e60 and did not worked as a cd-changer.
good news is that in couple of days they will fix it as the "language of BMW techs" is not complicated so soon they will come out, I doubt the end of June but maybe mid July! I will wait as has many players and not sure I wanna have a 4th one, like Ipod. till then Mp3 cds. here anything which is BMW costs a hell a lot so I will wait and not even sure that in B, H, or D the prices will be the same
