DRL options for the angel eyes will only cause an error unfortunately.
You can disable the DRL on the iDrive right? if so, you can rewire teh angel eyes to be DRLs as well, but you may get an error without resistors.

I know you are waiting for the good ones. The one we got as a sample stunk. So we went back to the drawing board
I can't wait anymore! lol! let us know when it comes in.

I was thinking of trying out the LUX, but the install seems a little complicated and the AiB's that EAS sells, they don't know if it will work.

No, I cannot disable the DRL with iDrive. It was activated by the dealer. Please pardon me for the confusion, the factory rings are the parking lights and comes on when I switch on the parking lights.

Thanks

Is there any issues with error messages with the MTEC angel eyes shown above?

^ I know you asked about the MTEC ones, but I'll give you my experiences so far. I tried those, the GP Thunders, and the RD Dash LED's and all of them were terrible with the exception of the GP thunders. But then I pulled the trigger and got HID AE's put in for $250 (including the cost of the HIDs + Labor). My HID AE's blows away everything except the LUIS LED retrofit, but considering I didn't have to send my headlights away and the fact that it cost only a fraction of what Luis' kit costs, it was a no brainer for me. I have no error lights, no flickering, and I can basically drive at night with just my AE"s on since they are so bright.

For LCI, the ONLY option IMO are getting HID's retrofitted in. Otherwise just stick with the GP thunders if you don't need them to be as bright as my sig.

Any questions let me know. I can also tell you where to get them installed in the NY/NJ area.

Mtec will occasionally have issues on the E60 and newer cars. The predator ice does not, but V3 is soon to be released, so if you can hold off, it will be here soon.
