AUX Installed In PRE-LCI
#11
It's pretty easy. I can also help if needed.
I installed the AUX connector between the two seat heating buttons under the DVD player, so it looks pretty stockish. roskinc is a great guy and I got the cable in a few days shipped from California for $25. That's all you would need along with the coding.
I can also IM you the coder's info if you want it. I have yet to code it - I'm getting my interior trim vinyl wrapped so I will get it coded as soon as that's done and the interior is back together.

Extremely interested in doing this. I'm in Chicago, so 540i, it would be great to know the guy's name/contact info. As for the chord and install, how much for all parts? And how difficult is the install? I work very rarely on cars, and even less on electrical, but if it's doable, I'd like to do it myself.
Looking for advice on whether that's something a car rookie would be able to accomplish. Minus the coding
