67M (E46 M3 19") rims: would they fit?
#1
Hi,
Need some advice from the rim fitment experts out there.
Love 67M, would like to retrofit a set on my E60. From my researches / understanding / computations:
- rears would be a direct fit,
- front would require 30 or 35 mm spacers.
Am I right? Should I be prepared to experiment some issues? What about center bores, for instance, are they the same?
Will post some pics and data right next...

My stock rims are 135M. Specs are as follow (square setup):
- rims: 8,0x18 ET 20, tires: 245/40
19" regular rims for the E60 are 172M. The rims do fit, obviously. Specs are:
- front rims: 8,5x19 ET 18, front tires: 245/35
- rear rims: 9,5x19 ET 32, rear tires: 275/30
Here are the rims are considering: 67M. Specs are:
- front rims: 8,0x19 ET 47 (would go down to ET 12, using 35mm spacers), planning on 245/35 front tires
- rear rims: 9,5x19 ET 27, planning on 275/30 rear tires.
What do you guys think?

I mounted my M3 wheels this weekend, and they look great. I used a total of two spacers for 35mm at the front, and I also used a 20mm on the back (my rears were ground down to fit my e36 m3). They now look flush on all four wheels, and the ride is tighter. I will post pics soon.

Totally forgot this thread. Thanks John for bringing it back to life.
Here are some pics of my setup (still missing the little M stickers though).
Chose 30mm spacers on the front. Reference is S90-7-30-002, from Eibach. Perfect material, no issues whatsoever. 30mm is quite conservative, puts the wheel barely as a stock 172M. 35mm would probably look better, and I guess w/o any rubbing issues.
I have no spacers on the rears so far. Again, specs on these 67M rears are almost the same as 172M rears, so I guess stock 172M would look the same, in terms of "flushness" (never had the opportunity to stand to a E60 with 172M so far). That's not aggressive at all, some 20mm spacers would probably just make them look the way they should. Can't wait to see your pics John. Any rubbing issues?

Looks really good. Its unique without being too over the top. I had my wheels on my 1995 M3, and while it looked okay, the car handled poorly. Just too much tire for the e36 chassis. On the e60, these wheels feel much more at home. No rubbing at all, but still on stock sport suspension. Lowering in the near future. I promise to post pics soon.
One question - are you running stock sport springs or something else?
