thats a huge leap from a c to an m, thats like almost half an alphabet!! polar opposites, try a 550 and save some cash for sick mods.

If you do get a 550i, then get the '08 and on to ensure you get the M-Tech package. If you get an M5, the majority of you mods will already have been completed

M5 + sick mods (inc. Kreissieg F1 exhaust) way better solution for me
