I prefer the deep lip look, mainly because our cars are some of the few cars that can actually pull it off. Good luck finding a nice deep lip on an MB, or Audi, etc. My rear wheels have a 4.5 in lip and I love the look. I figure if you can pull off a nice deep lip look - DO IT!!!!!

EDIT: LOL Sorry, these are the slightly different model. I am also partial to black wheels on a silver car - see mine
