Ok then guys...

I need some suggestions. I'm slightly torn as to which wheels from DPE I should get for my car. It's a Silverstone II M5

As some of you know, I was only ever going to get the Radenergie R10's, which are awesome wheels, however, after some emails and advice and options from Michael over at Acute Performance, I have decided to go DPE instead. I said to him just last night that I would go for the SPC-5S.... However, after looking through the DPE website, I stumbled across the SP-SC10.

The differences being obviously the spokes being that the SPC-5S' are 5 twin spoke, and the SP-SC10 are 10 spoke. Also the SPC-5S' are Shallow Concave face, whereas the SP-SC10 are SUPER Concave face.

Which do you think would be best? Michael at Acute Performance especially!

Thanks in advance guys

Only thing with them, is that they haven't got the all round dish as the spokes come all the way out to the edge... I dunno!! Come on Michael!! Give me your advice!!

Yes the caveat with the super deep is you lose the lip. I would go personally go with the lip. I think concavity is a fad. Do you like these shots? This is a super concave wheel:

They suit the M3. I can't see them suiting the M5 after seeing those pics. Look awesome on the M3 though

I like the concave look and don't think it's a fad at all. I remember loving the original Racing Dynamic wheels which were concaved (although they still had a small lip) way back in the early '90s. That said, I think the spokes on the SP-SC10 are too thin and so I like the SPC-5S better.

I prefer the deep lip look, mainly because our cars are some of the few cars that can actually pull it off. Good luck finding a nice deep lip on an MB, or Audi, etc. My rear wheels have a 4.5 in lip and I love the look. I figure if you can pull off a nice deep lip look - DO IT!!!!!
