Hi All,
I am going to get my stock M5 wheels powder coated, was wondering if anyone had theres done? I am tossing it up between Satin Black, or like a graphite color. My car is Silver/Grey - if anyone has ideas or pics of stock wheels done, it would be great..

My advice to you is not to touch your beautiful OEM wheels. Invest in after market wheels.. trust me, you won't regret it alter on.

I powdercoated my OEM 166's High Gloss Black and I LOVE it.. mind you i am going for a totally different look, and have completed my murdered Beast!... C's M5 looks amazing.. but even more amazing with his aftermarket wheels..
My advice go with Designo's advice and go aftermarket... otherwise do what C did.. and go graphite powdercoat

Thanks guys, I love the stock wheels, but the paint is coming off from the dealer using acid. The powedercoating guy owes me a favor. So he will do them fro $400 total. Since those pics I love the dark color, your car looks sick! ill post some pics after my hard decision..or

Do the same as C's. His car looks awesome with his OEM's winter's like they are. His Rad's look better though!

I went satin black. There are literally 9 million colors to chose from these days when it comes to powder coating. I think I looked at 25 different blacks alone. various different shots from different cameras satin black has about 40% gloss in it so they are not matte but not full gloss either.

That could look pretty trick too man! Have you thought about some properly outlandish colour like bright orange? HAHA!! Could look pretty cool! Orange on black is a winning combo in my books, just maybe not wheels!!
