I can only imagine what a fantastic drive the M5 is having never driven one, however if the vehicle in the pictures is $240,000 (don't know what that is in GBP) the interior is too cheap looking IMHO. For the extra cash I would have thought BMW would have added a really expensive looking interior with interesting colours, piped leather seats and exclusive wood/aluminium. I know it comes with all the major options but its still cheap looking - sorry don't want to upset any M5 die-hards

I'd go for the 550i if I were you - It'll be just as much fun in the real world!

if you can afford and want one, get it. we can't compare prices in different countries. $240k can buy a mansion in many places but can't even get a nice car in some. but one thing is very important, ask your boss first...your wife .
