I finally took delivery of my 2008 M5 this past tuesday night. And since then, I have managed to put 600 miles on it. I just keep finding things to do that require me to drive long distances. 
This car is truly a dream, much more than i ever expected. I drove a 2005 545 for the past 18 months and thought that was a great car.
There is no comparison.
I tried to take some photos of the 2008 upgrades/changes, except that the car keeps calling for me to drive it.
