My Ride: 09 M5 (E60) Interlagos blue, Silverstone interior, with cold weather package. Adaptive Xenon headlamps and adaptive brake lights, hud, comfort access. Comfort seats, basically fully loaded.

about time we heard from you.. j/k... Did this tranny ever give you any indications of ne kindda failures ever before?.. SMG issues are just so fuked up.

I did not get any problems with the tranny problems however, 1 month ago when I visited the local bmw dealership with my M5 one of the mechanics said something about "Regulating the shift times they are out of sync" and somewhere he mentioned hydraulic pump.

I had the same issue on my E60 and it was the hydraulic pump issue. It was replaced under warranty and i have never had the issue again.

and what does that mean? is it something seriose? is it something I should look out in the future?
