I've got 35% as well..... in reality it is not as dark as on those pics above.... go for it... IMHO less then this is not worth it......

I may be a bit here, but am I right in thinking that the lower the percentage the darker the tint?
I seem to think that the % figure is for Visible light transmission (VLT) so that a 5% tint is very very dark (only allowing 5% VLT), whereas a 35% tint is much lighter because it allows more VLT.
This being the case then anything less than 20% is going to be almost completly blacked out from what I understand.

and its personal preference. I do admit its a little darker than I wanted but the next step up I was afraid it would be lighter than I liked. I dont care what they say but tints do fade a little over time and I've noticed its a tiny bit lighter already after a year so in about a year it would be perfect!
P.S. this was taken in a gloomy rainly day so it looks darker than usual.

Update:: Tinted my windows @ 15% all around, I'll upload the pics as soon as I can... any worthy upgrades I should make to this car?

Just got my tinted too.. Got Limo all the way around 5% tint .. I got non-metal tint because of the nav. Learned my lesson from my E39 that nav had so much problems because of tint.. I'll post some pics after i wash my car tomorrow.
