I think you'll love the Eibach setup. It still retains much of the stock compliance, though it's a tad firmer. It also drops the front a bit more than the back, giving you just a slight rake. With these cars, it's definitely a balance issue. The front wheelwell is larger than the rear wheelwell. However, if you drop the front enough so that the tires fill out the wells evenly, the bottom of the car becomes not very level at all (especially when viewed directly from the side).
Don't forget to get 35mm long wheel bolts!

I wouldn't dare run spacers without extended bolts and locks.
