I was careless backing up in a parking lot (lots of snow and ice) and I completely split my rear diffuser and damaged the bottom guide (51 12 7 896 847 ). The bottom guide is an easy fix @$30.

Rather than replacing the entire rear bumper cover (guestimate around $1200)

Would an add on rear diffuser do the job? is there a rear diffuser which covers the entire area. ?
Its is hard to tell from the hartge photos if it covers the entire area?

The acs may work but its more than i wanted to spend. Im looking for something to fully encapsulate the split
any suggestions? Thanks in advance

That should be an easy fix at a body shop for maybe $300 to $400, I'd think. They can place material behind the break / split to stabilize it and fill the crack and paint it.

And you own an M5???

TraderHal, the Hartge rear diffuser does not wrap the top of that portion, it goes underneath. The Vorsteiner one seems like it does from pics on their website but I'm not sure: http://www.vorsteiner.com/bmw/5Serie...Diffuser.aspx#

Also, maybe I'm wrong but I thought the bumper cover is only about $400-$500.

I didn't mention that one cause it's sold.

Still got the front RDSport splitters though if anyone's interested.
