Default Reduced engine power malfunction problem

Guys I could really use some help here. I have a 2006 E60 M5 with 99k miles and today I was driving home from work when a went to go pass up a car and hit the gas hard and all of the sudden my car stalled and all kinds of errors and malfunctions came up on the dash and on the I drive. The Check engine light came on and the brake light, the traction control light and the I drive had a msg that said reduced engine power. DSC malfunction also came up. The back part of my rpm gauge that is yellow in color was stuck on 4k and it wouldn't let me accelerate. I began to lose power so I pulled over and turned the car off for a good 10 minutes and when I started the car back up all the codes and malfunction alerts were gone and the car drove fine until i jumped back on the e way and hit the gas again and the alerts came up again. I have no idea what this is and if anyone out there can help me out before I take it into the dealership I would appreciate it.

Can any auto shop do it or does it have to be taken into the BMW dealership?
